We, at the FRC, are proud to have the opportunity to give something back. 🤲 Whether you are a firefighter, soldier, police officer, or otherwise, the job has its risks. And that's why we find it important to highlight a charity like "VZW Eddy Strijckers". Who supports our fellow first responders, or their families, in times of tragedy. We thank all of you who participated. It is because of you guys that we were able to gather, yet again, €2500!! So thank you guys, and see you at the FRC2026! 💯

It has been exactly 2 weeks since we did our second FRC-edition so let's recap for a second: 3 categories - 3 podiums each. But the overall winner? ➡️ SAU SRT with 28'30"! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Police: 1. This year's First responder challenge was yet again a great success. Teams fought between and within categories. And it reflects in our scoreboard. 💯💪🏻🥇

🚨 Spotlight Saturday 🚨 This week we want to talk about our local police forces. In the first edition of the FRC, we had members of @politie_carma who dared to take on the challenge. When patrolling, you never know what to expect. One moment you are helping people who got in an accident and a few moments later you find yourself running after a suspect. Being a patrol officer in a local police force is a tough task. And that's why we are always happy to have members of local forces gather at the FRC, and test their skills, endurance, teamwork etc. So for 2025 we want to challenge all local forces to sign a team up! 🚨Spotlight Saturday 🚨 New week, new spotlight Today we want to emphasize the importance of the mini first responder and thanking Tessenderlo/Ham for the opportunity to let the children of their schools experience what it takes to be a first responder. They are our future and that's why the FRC-team finds it important to involve them. We look forward to hosting the MFR 2025! 🏫🙌🏻

🚨 Spotlight Saturday 🚨 The FRC stands for unity and teamwork. We try to bring as many First Responders together as we can through competition and challenges. To highlight the importance of our philosophy, we decided to organize a *spotlight Saturday* in which we will highlight different disciplines, members, participants, etc... This week: Firefighters Tessenderlo Firefighters are trained to battle fire and rescue people. With many other tasks in between. We brought the fire to them and they conquered it, earning them a second place in their category. This year we hope to see more firefighter-teams so they can have a little bit of a competition within.
